Aiya opened its doors on March 25th, 2015. Aiya, from the beginning, strived to redefine and renew what most people considered Chinese food to be. Utilizing techniques derived from different cuisines, a focus on quality, and daily shipments of all of our raw product, we've been able to do just that. We're over the moon with the amount of generosity and support that we've received as a restaurant and as a team. For the last year, we've served thousands of customers, learned, improved and have done our best to ensure efficiency and quality.
We've operated as a full-table service restaurant, but as we sat down together and thought about what else we could improve, we realized that we would have to dramatically make a change to how we run. Starting May 1st, 2016, Aiya will no longer be a full-table service restaurant. We will be transitioning to Fast Casual. For many, this change isn't sudden. For the past few months, we've begun to change the design and appearance of our restaurant to suit our switch. Our decision to change the restaurant concept came after long deliberation amongst the management and ownership. We wanted to be able to focus heavily on improving service, speed, and increase options, all while maintaining the quality that our guests have grown to expect from us.
Our menu will now have more options to select from and because we've emphasized heavily these past few months on increasing efficiency with our suppliers and preparation processes, we're passing on the savings to you. Our entire menu has been revamped and the lower price points will be effective starting May 1st, 2016.
We look forward to serving you in our new concept.
